I've been training hard for my fight at 145 lbs at the end of May.
I've been bugging my head trainer a lot lately and he asked my why I was so eager to fight. I told him I felt that amateur fights were great learning experiences, win or lose.
He then asked me if I wanted to fight this weekend at 155 sense my weight is hovering around there and I said sure!
He said he'll talk with the promoter tonight and see if they have any green 155'ers ready to go.
I am at 162 lbs tonight.
The only downside is I ate way toooooo many leg kicks in sparring tonight (again) and have been dilligently popping the ibuprofen and icing it. Hopefully it will feel better come fight time.
