    Protein powder alternative?

    ey guys, just a quick question.....I'm having money trouble and I don't have money for a protein powder this fortnight.

    Just wondering what are good alternatives to Protein powder straight after you finish your workout...

    Chocolate milk is a great choice. If refrigeration is a problem, use powdered milk + chocolate mix (Nestquick, Ovaltine, etc).

    hmm... decent protein powder should be cheaper than other sources. especially sources like beef or chicken. calculate it out, a tub of protein gives you much more protein for the price of a bag of chicken. you gotta convert ratio's tho. like for 10 dollars of the protein tub and 10 dollars of chicken. more protein is in the supplement.
