Sharp pain in the left side of chest when I run a lot

Anyone get this? Running or generally a lot of physical exertion causes this for me. Why does it happen?

I have something similar, but instead I get the feeling of my left arm being asleep, so it tingles inside my left bicep area.

usually if you get a sharp pain in your left chest that feels like its piercing from your heart to your shoulder//clavicle, it is pain transference from your spleen or some **** like that. your spleen also causes the stitch in the left side. Your liver causes the stitch in the right side

The occurance could indicate inadequate warmup / intensity gradation, improper breathing [rapid and shallow], lack of core flexiblity, improper running gait / form [including foot strike and side to side motion / twisting], or sub-optimal footware.

You look like you may favor leaning to your left side too.

I see. Thanks man. I'll take care of all the things as I've never before given much importance to them.

You may want to get an x-ray and blood test done - at the very least, get a physical. If you have cardio myopathy (enlargement of the heart), you could have a serious problem.

Better safe then sorry, at least get a physical done once a year.

Shouldn't be anything too important. I had a pain just like this every day in gym class when they made us run.
