No, the larger picture of your diet matters much more. If you need to get in the calories, there is nothing wrong with turning to something deemed "unhealthy" every once in a while, or for 1 meal per day.

EDIT: and x2 on belairdfence99's post... Often things are deemed "unhealthy" on these boards when they really are not, and often at worst "not optimal".

Just remember that the line between "healthy" and "unhealthy" is hardly a line at all.

the standard 6 meals a day is not necessary at all, eat 2 meals or eat 8, whatever you prefer and whatever fits your schedule/lifestyle. also dont think that a food besides chicken and brown rice is not effective. def do some browsing in this forum and you'll quite a bit of info that will greatly help you!

if you're having a hard time eating enough switch to higher calorie options...

put olive oil in your protein shake
eat a couple tbsps of PB
have a slice of pizza instead of an apple
Eat beef instead of chicken for a meal

so many things you can do...

Change one of the meals to something a little more unhealthy but higher in calories. It'll give you the mental break, and since you have a really tough time gaining weight maybe some of the extra cals will put you over the edge.
