i buy it 15lbs at a time usually.

I like to cook it all at once (grill) then put it in individual tupperwares and store in the fridge for the week.

It stays more fresh in the fridge, but you can only keep it there for a little while before it goes bad.

It will last for a year or two in the freezer but it wont taste as good.

And as for the fridge I would say 6 days is too long I wouldn't wait longer than 3

I don't leave my chicken in the fridge for more than 2-3 days. If you heavily cook it like in a soup or braise, you will be fine.

Thaw it in the fridge and that won't happen.


My dad taught me a nice way to cook chicken breasts that will stay nice and juicy when you go to microwave them later. (I have been doing this for years)

Season or marinade your chicken like you normally would then...

Bake at 400 degrees (middle rack of your oven) for about 10minutes (times might be a little different depending on your oven)

Then flip your chicken breasts and cook for another 7minutes

Then turn your oven to BROIL and place the chicken on the top rack closest to the broiler wires for about 4minutes. (this gives them a lightly golden brown color)

Flip the chicken and let broil for another 3minutes.

I usually cook about 8 breasts and let them cool down on the counter before I store them in Tupperware.

6 days is probably too long. Best advice would be to throw it out. Trust me food poisoning from chicken isn't fun. If you want to use make sure you cook the **** out of it.

6 dayz is too long raw or cooked Cooked no more than 3 maybe 4 dayz.... Raw chicken goes bad quick....

i leave my chicken in the very back of the fridge right under the cooling thing

so its like inbetween freezer and inbetween fridge
like ice forms and **** but not completely frozen like freezer, but close

speaking from my experience i've used chicken that was in the fridge for a week....probably got lucky..but after i cook the chicken i've eaten it 12 days after it was in the fridge in Tupperware....
