    Almonds and bulking

    I'm looking at some of the bulking diets listed and some people have something like: 30 almonds and a glass of milk as a meal...

    How is this a meal at all? Thirty almonds are a little under 200 cals and a glass of milk is only like 160 cal.... I thought meals were something like a plate of pasta or steak and eggs - not almonds a milk.

    dont be robotic about your calorie intakes.... just eat when you can throughout the entire day and keep that metabolism high and the intake high.

    During a bulk though, it may be wise to ADD the almonds and milk after having finished off your plate.

    Full meal at 1PM, almonds and milk at 3PM, full meal at 5PM...

    Just because you're bulking, that doesn't mean you can't eat smaller meals/snacks sometimes.

    Oh, I always thought it was Full meal at 1 PM, full meal at 3 PM and full meal at 5 PM. I've been trying to do that and have been struggling. So a snack like almonds in between would be beneficial?

    It depends on your calories and schedule. There is no "correct" way to bulk. Just take the calories you need and divide it into meals.

    You can do 3 big ones and 3 small ones, 5 big ones, 8 small ones, etc. Makes no difference.
