You should be able to get it fixed for FREE. Xbox has some many RROD they have had to fix tons of them.

They will even send you a shipping lable to ship to a approved Xbox repair shop.

I did this and it took about 3 weeks from the date I shipped it to returned on my doorstep.

Also got either 3month xbox live or 1 month for free.

call Microsoft and get it fixed. I think the number is on the xbox itself. I've had my xbox since it came out in 2006, got RROD in 2007, they fixed it for free, and mine has had 0 problems since. It might be a little louder after because they put cooling fans in the back and those help.

microsoft only extended the warranty time for the XBOX 360 RROD, they did not do anything else

i want to say it went from 12 months to 3 years, but even then, i had RROD in 2007, then again in 2008, and last year when it happened again i was out of warranty...

I've got an old xbox that it just quit reading the disk.. Then I just upgraded. I didn't even try to get it fixed. Bout it years ago

I have it for 360, and a friend of mine is having similar problems such as: taking too long to get out of V.A.T.S, creatures/NPCs getting stuck within rocks/buildings etc. The camera also has a staccato feel to it. While rotating the camera, it'll get stuck for a while.

Primm is pimp so far. This is one of the most badass games I can remember playing.

I got a little further than that, but I cant tell which sides are good and evil. It is kinda greyish nah mean? That and there is def alot going on with the story aspect. Great so far though I agree

To everyone about the RROD:

I went online and called Microsoft, they wouldn't fix it for free. They actually already did fix it once for free in 07/08. I went to a local shop and the fixed in an hour for $40

Not the first time through. Maybe I will try it at some point. I agree with some people about never using food/water through Fallout 3 and thinking it'd make those items worth being in the game though.

Yeah it's great. Kinda cool that stealing is always wrong even when you're stealing from enemies but the game rewards you for killing them, lol.

7 hours in New Vegas so far. I love this game just as much as Fallout 3. Taking my good sweet time too. through Primm and the jail last night, level 6 I think. Went to Moave Outpost on SW corner of map and bought a grenade rifle and service rifle(m16). A few quests from there are available.

I stopped playing last night after the Nevada Highway Patrol building. Got the 10mm pistol and am on my way to Mohave Outpost. Can't wait to get off work today!

I assume you have the cowboy repeater as well. Love that gun and my caravan shotgun.

It's a great way to kill time till Black Ops. Hardcore is pretty win, having a lot of fun with it.

I honestly didn't enjoy the game. There were just so many things lacking.

All in all - I'd skip it.

It just isn't as gritty as the first.

Have you tried 'The Godfather II'?

It is a lot like that - but I actually preferred TG2.

Mafia 2 is in badly need of polishing.

I combat system is sub-par. I could liken it to 'The Saboteur' in some ways. But the latter was just simply far more exciting. Plus you had the opportunity to choose from a vast array of weaponry - bombs, dynamite you name it. Mafia 2 just didn't offer that.

Intense interactivity with your environment is something you shouldn't expect from playing the game either.

All in all - if you're a HUGE fan. I'd give it a try when the price goes down.

Honestly that is why I don't want to buy it full price. I would play it for sure but don't wanna drop 60 but will drop 60 on black ops....
