CCleaner is a disk cleanup that also cleans up internet ****...but can also fix registry problems and all that fun stuff

Defraggler is a defrag program..i think it works better than microsofts version

checks all your comp temperatures on HD, processors, video cards...and has an auto fan option, nice if you have a new comp that has all the sensors

Malwarebytes, anti malware program, download the free trial version. unlike most trials, this will actually remove things from your comp. works VERY well. easy to use, scans pretty quick, and as long as you update the deffinitions will catch just about anything

just thought id share these, since i find them so helpful

jkdefrag teabags all imo. It's free. You can also get a program called Eraser that is free and can do DOD clean of free space. File Shredder is a great program (free) that you can write click delete (DOD level). So what I would do is set up a scheduled task to defrag the drive nightly and later a schedule task to kick off eraser and overwrite freespace. You would want to run defrag before you set up the scheduled tasks as the first time your drive me be pretty frragmented. Lastly if you need to surf anonymosly you should use Tor. Google Tor Browser and they have a packaged install that will include a version of Firefox. Its basically a tunnel program to keep your identity hidden. There will be network some network latency but depending on what it is used for may be worth it. Oh and yes it is free also and does not store cookies, allow scripts, history etc. All this is changeable by you though.
