coconut oil

I posted this on another part of the site but thought people on keto might be more open to this idea

I could not find a thread on coconut oil so I decided to post a thread here

Coconut oil helps reduce body fat for many
I read that it revs up your metabolism and really fills you up
* BF loss is most likely due to revved up metabolism and how much the oil fills you up along with curbing your sweet tooth for sweets+carbs

I was wondering if anyone has tried it and what were your results
Currently I am on a low carb diet and just bought some coconut oil... I didn't buy the coconut oil just to aid in my fat loss but because of all the other benefits it offers
(The best coconut oil to buy is organic virgin and unrefined)

Coconut Oil helps fight against Candida I am not going to go into detail what exactly it is but it's an overgrowth of yeast present in he mucous membranes of the mouth, intestinal tract, and vagina.
People with candida will most likely suffer from sympotms (after taking the VCO) such as headaches and stomach aches this is due to the VCO killing off the Candida so in that situation you would start off with as much VCO as you can handle

Coconut oil+Candida
http://www.coconutdiet.com/candida.htm
http://www.coconut-connections.com/candida.htm

you can eat coconut oil by the spoonfull, cook foods in it, add it in coffee SF hot coco or even tea

Hope this was interesting for people who did not know about this

How do you get it to liquefy ? I tried to use some in my shakes but it's like a butter consistency and NO fun to try and eat it down.

i take about 1.5-2 tablespoons after dinner every day w/ my ground flaxseeds. I just put it in a little bowl, heat it up for about 15 seconds (liquifies it) then mix it w/ the flaxseeds in water, and down it.

It only liquefies when the temp goes over 76 degrees (i think. 70 something). So it kinda sucks for shakes when you are adding ice.

I just put it on a spoon and suck it down. Feels good man.

You could probably make your shake first.. warm it in the microwave and then add it to your shake and blend it and then drink it fast

I had about 1-2 teaspoons last night and I couldn't fall asleep till about 2 am that stuff really does give you energy I'm not taking it late again! lol

I made a low carb "treat" I found on a low carb website
about 3 tablespoons melted VCO + 1 TB (or more) Unsweetened Cocoa Powder + a few almonds or whatever nut you like... freeze it and then break it off in chunks and eat it... It is delicious and helps fight cravings for sweets

yeah that's one thing about MCT/coconut oil... gives ya energy.

I made a coconut oil and chocolate fudge that was the bomg diggety a while back. Full of cocoa, nuts, coconut shreds, sunflower seeds... DAMN it was good.

I can't second the hot shake tho... if mine isn't cold, i can't get 'er down.
