Working lower chest without decline bench?

    Hi guys,

I want to start working a bit my lower chest, but there is no decline bench where I train. There is a flat and incline bench and there is also a decline situp bench, but the lower part is sitting on the floor and there is no rack above it.

Any exercices I could perform to work this part of the chess without a decline bench?

    Thanks!

You can do the iron cross w/ some cables at the gym. I feel them in my lower chest a lot. The picture below is the form, but you obviously wouldn't be using the sliding bench. You'd be standing and bringing your arms down to your sides.

I would guess that you could still do DB presses on the decline sit-up bench.

Likewise, doing a flat flye while turning the pinky side of the DB in near the top hits the lower chest very well.

    And don't forget dips.

But in all honesty, simply hitting flat movements will likely adequately stimulate your lower pecs.

Unless your flat bench is bolted to the floor, it has a decline function - elevate the end of it with something like a block.

You could also do benches with a slight arch in your back.
