    Request: 900pound bench press

I saw a video like 2 or 3 days ago of this video benching 145 like its a freaking feather, and keeps adding two patties for each set...

Then he hits 900 lbs.... the whole bar is bending. It was on youtube, and I searched here and on youtube and didn't find it.

It works the top end of the range of motion so they can use their bench shirt more efficiently.

so called power lifters are just over weight ppl who are stuck doing "power lifting" because they cant cut it as a bodybuilder. This guys is still impressive and looks massive and not the classic fat "power" lifter.... and 900lbs is impressive that he can even hold it up granted its an inch but still cool but rather see 500lb bench with form would be more impressive but hey thats me

Another powerlifters are fat comment, I guess I'll just start saying bodybuilders are weak. Maybe some people like being strong instead of looking strong, maybe they enjoy lifting heavy weights and get stronger over looking big, but that would require you to think, and I dont wont you to get hurt. btw ryan has benched 1050+

I can relate to the guys dedication and commitment to what he's done with himself, but I can't understand why he would abuse his body in this way..

You realize that weightlifting is an olympic event, right?

Unless you want to make the argument that olympic weightlifting isn't a sport, I'd love to hear how you justify describing powerlifting as a hobby and not a sport unless you want to make the same case for Olympic weightlifting... which would obviously be stupid because its AN OLYMPIC SPORT.
