    deloading after a strength program.

i'm comming off a strength oriented program (add 50 bench cycle) i'd like to deload for a weak ( take it easy , lower weights, intensity) and then get back on a traditional mass program. but are there any specific precautions i should take to make sure i maintain my gains?

As long as you sleep and eat enough you shouldn't lose strength in a week...the whole point of a deload is to help your CNS and muscles heal and combat overtraining.
