Georgia-Dawgs' Havoc Log w/ OTC PCT

Background Info: Began working out in high school for baseball. Once I got to college and no longer played lifting became my passion. I am currently 6' 195lbs. Looking to try and put on 10lbs muscle with minimal fat gain. Attempting a clean bulk. Whey Protein 2 shakes/day

Preload:

Possibly Lean Xtreme?? What do yall think? Should I add this to PCT?

Program & Diet:
The workout regime I will be following is based off the Avanced Training Split found on pg.207 of Arnold's Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding. I am attempting a clean bulk. High protein diet. Minimum 1 gallon water/day.
Although I will not be keeping track of my macros, below is a list of foods I eat often.

Foods I eat:
Eggs
Baked chicken
Canned chicken
Steak
Pork Chops
Brown Rice
Pasta
Salad
PB&J's
Pretzels
Quaker Oatmeal Squares
Popcorn
Pizza occasionally

Workout Split:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: morning: chest & back. evening thighs and calves
Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday: Shoulders, Bi's, Tri's, Forearms
Abs Everyday


I've actually started my cycle 4 days ago so tonight I will post the first 4 days of the log. Any and all feedback/suggestions welcome.

Felt pretty good today. Struggled a little w/ bench and incline. Always week at pullups - don't know why. Going to DT Atlanta tonight. Having one drink max. I figure that wont kill me.

Note: I wont be posting each workout routine. That's just too much work for me. I'll do it about once a week for each muscle group.

Day 2: Saturday 4/4/2009

OFF DAY. I feel strong. I had 5 great workouts Monday thru Friday. Taking the weekend off.

Day 3: Sunday 4/5/2009
Still feel big. I seriously feel like I've already noticed havoc. Muscles feel pumped all the time. I'm really excited for tomorrow's workout. Can't wait to see if strength has gone up.

First MLB Game tonight. Braves v. Phillies. Go Braves!

Day 4

Day 4: 4/6/2009

Pretty good workout today. Really crowded at the gym this morning. All the high school kids have off for spring break. I got all my exercises done but it took much longer than usual - waiting for benches and machines. I'l probably get up and go more around 8am. Hopefully won't be so many kids in at that time.

Only side note is that Cycle Support(chocolate) tastes disgusting. They may want to rethink that formula. Put it in pill form. Other than that I feel good. Trying to eat a lot without feeling bloated constantly. Plus I'm pissing about 25x a day with all the water I drink.

hey man goodluck on your cycle, ill keep an eye on it because i am starting a havoc cycle in about 3 weeks. Gota get all my supps in hand especially my PCT before i start, plus im headed down to Florida for a short vacation this weekend so wana get that outa the way first. i am from Georgia also. GO DAWGS.

question......why are you adding extra mlik thistle and hawthorn berry??? cycle support has that in it already???

i would pass on the LX. it did jack for me in pct.

yeah I know cycle support has both those in it, but I had read that taking a small dose in addition would not be harmful in any way. I figure a little added protection to my liver would be a good thing. what do you think?

so pass on LX? do you think a cortisol blocker is needed? that would be the only reason I'd use it in pct.

Day 5

Day 5 - 4/7/2009

Today was shoulders, bi's and tri's. Had a great pump after my first set of standing barbell curls. So far, no significant difference in size or strength. It's day 5 so I'm not worried about it. I know it'll kick in. Here's what I have noticed though:

Appetite through the roof already. I'm eating like a horse. Pump's are great. My muscles feel tight all the time. I also feel more focused when lifting(could be placebo effect). Below is what I did today at the gym to give yall an idea for my Tuesday, Thurs, and Saturday workouts:

Pretty Good workout. Only thing different about today's workout is that during my second set of overhead tricep ext's I almost pooped my pants lol. took one of the biggest sh*ts of my life...came from nowhere lol.

Last night I was flipping through Arnold's book and found a few inspirational & insightful quotes that I thought I'd share:

"You never really stop doing the basics, you just add new ways of doing things." Pg. 213

"Always keep in mind that training stimulates growth, but that actual growth takes place while you are resting." Pg. 214

"Vision is purpose, and when your purpose is clear so are your life choices. Vision creates faith and faith creates willpower. With faith there is no anxiety, no doubt - just absolute confidence." Pg. 230

I thought all these were very important ADVICES(aware?, lol). The last quote regarding vision is in relation to setting one's state of mind in order to complete a goal; and more specifically remember that it is often the mind that fails...not the body. Think about that next time you throw on heavy weight and attempt to push out those last reps.

Regarding the cycle, everything is going well. I'll be starting 30mg tomorrow and am pumped for future results. As a side note - I was a little tired today. Maybe I just need some sleep. Libido is fine...gf will testify to that

Planning on heading to bed here soon so I can be well rested for tomorrow morning's workout. Wake up, have some coffee and make the best of every rep.

Oh...and one general question. Anyone else have any more experience taking Lean Xtreme during PCT? If so, please share. I'm still currently debating on it...

I was on fire today at the gym. Started off with barbell curls..worked up from 75lbs to 95lbs, then all the way back down to the bar. Felt great! Incredible pump! Not much else to report. Eating away and trying to get enough rest. I'll keep working hard and the results will come.

Day 8

Day 8 - 4/10/2009

Weight 200lbs

Up 5 pounds overall. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say at least 2lbs is water weight.

Chest & Back today. Continue to feel increased strength. One thing that I've noticed is that I never seem to get tired at the gym. If I am normally struggling to get through the last set of the day, now I can easily push through it and maybe even get in a few more sets. Again, muscles feel hard constantly and even though I am eating everything in sight I wake up the next morning looking lean.

Hey man, j/w how the strength gains have been so far in terms of weight gains on your core lifts (squat,DL, bench) and say barbell curls and weighted dips if you do them. Also, how much did your sups for on-cycle and PCT amount to?

Day 10

Day 10 - 4/12/2009

-OFF-

Havoc show's itself.

So...these are the back pumps that people have been mentioning! I felt them yesterday but today's were insane. I really didn't imagine them hurting quite so bad lol. Popped some Taurine and had a banana and they have seemed to subside..for now. Other side note is my g/f mentioned that I was "testy" today. I really didn't think so but I'll take her word for it. Oh - and on that note...libido still up..so thats good!


Besides shooting some hoops outside I pretty much have just taken it easy today. Hope yall have enjoyed your Easter wknd!

I'll weigh in tomorrow and report back.

Thanks for checking out my log man!

Strength gains - are definitely apparent. Before cycle I was benching 225lbs on my last set and only getting 3-4. Now my last set is 235lbs at about 4 reps. Doesn't seem huge but keep in mind that 225 has been my plateau for quite sometime now. I've never been able to surpass it this easily. Squats...couldn't tell ya. I have bad knees from baseball(catcher). I have the beginning of arthritis in them and doc says I'll prob need replacements around the age of 40. I very rarely go extremely heavy for this reason. Barbell curls have increased for sure. From 90lbs on last set to 100lbs. So gains are there however only minimal. It is only day 10 though...

Day 11 - 4/13/2009

Weight: 198.5

Woke up @ 7:30 this morning to get my workout in today. This is early for me considering I do not start class before 11am everyday. Pretty good workout. Started slow just because it was so early I think. Ate a banana this morning pre-workout. I was feeling the back pumps again immediately upon waking.

I dont know If I'm just having one of those days or if its the havoc but I have felt pissed off all day today...for no reason. I'm just in one of those moods. I dunno...

Only other thing is I've been waking up in the middle of the night a lot. Who knows..

On the bright side...Pizza night.

Day 12

Day 12 - 4/14/2009

Well just got done w my workout...its 11pm and im tired! Stayed up late last night writing a paper so I decided to sleep in and push my workout to this evening. I coach middle school baseball and we had out last game today so I wasn't able to even get to the gym till 9:30ish. Had to rush the arms/shoulders workout however I feel like that was very beneficial. I was hardly resting and just pumping out my sets! I didn't get as many exercises in as I wanted but I was just as tired or even more so do to the lack of rest times in between sets.

I am noticing much more vascularity than I've ever had...ever! This was good to see! Biceps are getting bigger/stronger. Only down side to that is that I have small stretch marks near my armpit that have seemed to become larger. But...that means I'm getting bigger! Plus they're really not that noticeable to others unless you're really looking.

All other things aside everything is looking good! I did/still do have a headache that began this afternoon. I'm going to go and check my blood pressure tomorrow and see what its at. Don't know if its from increase blood pressure or if its just a side of Havoc.

I'll report back tom with weight, blood pressure and lifts. Peace.

Day 14 - 4/16/2009

I can't believe I'm half way done with Havoc! I've had great gains thus far in addition to looking much leaner! I'm seeing much more definition in all muscle groups. I'm debating on whether I should post progress pics now or just wait until the end of Havoc and then once again at the end of PCT. I feel like doing it that way would provide a better picture of Havoc's results.

Another great day today at the gym. When I'm in there I feel like I can lift FOREVER! I never really seem to get tired and just keep busting out sets which I normally would not be able to do after a hard workout.

I'll post my most recent bi's, tri's, and shoulders workout on Saturday for a strength comparison. I could use today's but I gotta run and dont have time

I used to struggle getting 225, 5x's and now i'm pushing much heavier weight to finish my bench. Gains are definitely apparent. Weight hovering at 200lbs flat the past few days. Up 5lbs overall and right now I'm convinced that its 5 solid pounds. I'm much leaner and more defined. My gf's roomates even commented yesterday when I was over there.

I can't even imagine where 2 more wks Havoc is going to take me.

Subbed your thread. Getting ready to start Havoc cycle myself. While I was reasearching Havoc I came across a post that stated that Havoc is a DHT derivative and that saw palmetto fights for the same receptor. I also was going to use cycle support but it has saw palmetto in it. Im going to use milk thistle and hawthorn berry individually now. You might want to research this yourself.

very nice gains so far man. i am on day 16 myself so we are pretty much at the same spot. do you find havoc makes you lethargic at all? thats pretty much the only negative side i have managed to get so far in my cycle.

Actually no not really. I did have one day probably near day 6 or 7 when I just felt tired all day. Other than that side effects have been VERY mild.
