Best Book?.
I currently work for a large-chain bookstore and I can't help but notice the many different nutrition, dieting, and health books there are. Which lead me to question which ones where actually worth reading? I recently picked up a copy of "Good Calories, Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes and find it really interesting. Do any of you know of any "must read" health books? My favorite thus far is a toss up between "You on a Diet" by Roizen and Oz and "Eat This Not That" by David Zinczenko.

what i tell my friends/family, & what i'm gunna be telling my future participants *pokes signature* is that any nutrition &/or fat loss book you find in the library/bookstore will give the exact same basic advice...only worded differently & take up a zillion pages to tell you only a handful of basics.

I often preach the same, but I really enjoy learning the complexities of dieting and nutrition, and with books like the one above mentioned ("good calories, bad calories") we are seeing some new developments in the world of health and nutrition. I always encourage people to read as much as possible when it comes to their health, a little bit of new advice can go a long way.

We don't carry them in the bookstore unfortunately, but do you have one in mind that I could get online?

Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy

Great book, one of the only ones backed by long-term studies
Note that it doesn't specifically discuss bodybuilding/weight lifting but is a great book about general healthful eating.

I flipped through it a little the other day. It seems very similar to Arnold's book, but with more updated material.
