I am 240, 5 10 in height and had been doin 5 sets 15 12 10 8 6 with 4 exercises per body part. This comes up to 200 reps per day. I wanted to cut the flab and probably the overtraining was hurting that. Thus, I cut down to now 12 10 8 and 4 exercises.. I end up doing 100-120 reps. Now, I try to minimise the rest and I am done with these within 25 minutes.. I see people doing the same reps or less but taking 45 mins.. I feel weird that I am out so early.. Are the reps sufficient enough? Am I doing too little>

I guess that's possible. If each exercise last around 30seconds, your doing 12sets per body part, and your rest is 1.5min. (Optimum hypertrophy is achieved when rest are between 1-2min.) Then you can have a 24min work-out. There is always the putting the weights on the bar... but that can be done during the rest I guess.
