likely bad form. If it hurts, don't do it. The lumbar has to stay neutral to avoid overloading your disc's, and it may not be easy to know if its neutral.

The muscles that supports your lower back might be in an over-used state.
I had a problem like your about a month ago (bent over rows & squats).
Just drop the rows for a couple of weeks and you should be fine.

When you're doing bent over rows, your lower back is the natural hinge point. Your lower back needs to exert a great deal of force in order to maintain the position.

Your low back is being used isometrically to hold your torso in place. For some people this can cause pain. If the pain is at all significant, I wouldn't do them. But as you strengthen your low back, you may be able to come back and comfortably do rows at a later date. Meanwhile, do one-arm DB Rows.

Best,
thank you, i would assume DB rows do not utilize the lower back like a BB bent over row does. correct?

if you are braced against a rack then its much less pressure on your erectors to hold your torso up
