The "solid meal" makes me feel that you should be ok. However, I would add some type of carb after youor workout. Maybe put some oats in your shake or maybe a small bowl of oatmeal.

If you start to get pretty hungry or feal a little weak during the time up to your "solid meal" consider adding the carbs. Good luck.

P.S. When I did Mito, I would wake up, lightly stretch for 5 min, then do cardio with BCAAs on hand for about 20-30min (high intensity). I would then immediately have a shake with water and either a bowl of oatmeal or Kashi cinnamon cereal. I then wouldn't eat anything for another 2-3 hours.

I'd recommend some whole food. Shakes in the morning are convenient but leave a bit to be desired for satiation purposes. Personally, when dieting I eat hardboiled eggs because they are relatively easy to deal with in the morning. When dieting with Mitotropin I was eating five whole eggs and then drinking a cup of pasteurized eggwhites (EWI).
