it was of course single ply...i don't know of any multiply meets that require you to walk out the weight...
further it looked like a CPU meet so it was definitely single.

Thanks everyone. It was the 308lbs weight class and I weighed 294lbs. It was actually the CPA, which permits double ply gear. I was wearing a double ply Hardcore suit and a single ply rage-x shirt.
Not to sound like I'm tooting my own horn but I get little out of my squat suit. I had it made a size large so I can breath in it for strongman contests. My best belt + knee wrap squat is 725lbs at 345lbs bw and 705lbs at 295lbs bw. (Yeah... my weight is always all over the place)

To be honest, I never tried a monolift.

that's cool. I just figured in a double ply fed they'd have a monolift, you can always walk it out of the hooks if you so choose.
well if you have a power rack and like $1200 lying around;

i totally believe you when you say that you dont get much out of your suit, i would have never guessed that was a double ply by how fast your descent was
