input?

hey just trying to get some input , ive been doing SS for 4.5 months now and finally stalled on my dead lifts , now im wondering can i just add in pull up/chin up , dips , and some arm work before/rather than moving on to the advanced novice program?
basicly can i just run SS with the accessory work just to milk as many more months as i can out of the program?

If you've stalled, isn't the advice to cut out the accessory work, rather than add it in?

cant cut the accessory work because i havent been doing any , i want to add accessory work now that ive stalled out , i feel im still making gains on the program ive just stalled on my all my lifts with out accessory and was woundering if adding the acessory work would allow me to get a couple more weeks out of the program before i switch up to the Advanced Novice Program

I don't see how adding more work will help when you've stalled on a lift. The advice, I'd imagine, would be to simply reset all your lifts. Although 4.5 months is quite a long run on the basic version of Rippetoes. It probably is time to change up to the advanced novice version.

It might not be a bad idea to switch to Bill Starr's 5x5, as you may have "outgrown" SS. Bill Starr's program is the next logical step. Good luck.
