Day1 Cha Ats For Women
Hello
My name is Tiffany!! Today is my 1st day of the program I received from Derek. I'm excited and will hopefully start noticing some changes with Team Scivation!! I'm getting married in July and plan on doing my first Figure Show in August!! I have a 110 days until my wedding so there is no more time for playing!! I had a pretty good workout this morning 30 min of cardio and chest and back. If anyone that's on the same program has any advice, I'M ALL EARS!!
thx- tiffany

that's fantastic. I was just the opposite pretty much. I did a show in September 2008 and got married in October 2008!
Congrats to you! Best of luck with your training, diet and oh yeah....the wedding planning too!

I would stick with what you're given to do. Derek will make changes based on your results. If you start out with too much cardio, then you'll have nowhere to go, you'll be using everything in your arsenal in the beginning. Don't worry, he'll have you ready in TIME!!!

Thanks so much for the info!!
It's weird but I feel like since today it's only HIIT TRAINING that maybe I'm not doing enough. I was really itching to go get in a 2nd round of cardio last nite. And when my FI called and asked if I was going to the gym I told him no. Then he was like why not? I told him my new program doesn't call for it. He was like and what size are you ordering your dress in? I just want to make sure you're gonna be ready by July sweetie and if you order that dress and it doesn't fit I don't want you to be disappointed. I was like I know I know, but there has to be a reason that they're not calling for cardio 2x's a day. He was like ok I just want you to keep pushing and do all that you can do. LOL i think he's more worried about me fitting into my dress than I am.. LOL

I know what you mean. It's really tempting to do more and more but you do need to wait so they can see how your body will respond to the diet and exercise. I think you have plenty of time though! Are you trying to get towards a certain weight/size by July??

Expectations?
Ok so those of you that are on the CHA 1400 FOR WOMEN'S PROGRAM.
What can I expect if I follow this program to a T in my 1st month? What type of results have you guys had so far? Is it to much to expect to loose 12-15lbs my 1st month in, will I get super strong, will I notice a change in my body in the 1st month? LOL.. MY ENQUIRING MIND was just in idle mode and I just wanted to know. Please share your stories with me and your results so far.

Well, everyone's body will react differently so I cant really give you an amt of poundage that you can expect. 15lbs seems like a lot in a one month period though, I would say if you lose 1-2 pounds a week, then you're making good progress. Those who have more weight to lose will lose more pounds than someone who doesnt have a lot to lose. For me, personally, I dont really need to lose weight but I want less fat and more muscle which is exactly what I've seen in my first few weeks. I'm on my third week now. I have lost inches, my body fat is consistently going down, and I'm seeing more and more definition.

Todays workout was Cardio and Legs
I think I pushed myself. Since today was legs I decided to to the stairmaster for my cardio-whew is all I can say!!
Squats-6x90 & 10x90
Stiff Leg Dead Lifts- 6x50 & 10x50
Leg Press- 2x10x200
Lying Leg Curl- 10x40 & 10x45
Leg Extensions- 6x80 & 10x85
Seated Calf Raises- 2x10x110
Standing Calf Raise- 2x10x90
I like the lower reps required on the program, it makes me push myself to go heavier than I normally would go. I tried to squat 190 and squeezed one rep out and was feeling it in my back and decided ok this maybe a little to heavy for you-lol. Not trying to hurt myself in the 1st week. When I finished my workout today I saw my hamstring I had to stop and pass by the mirror to make sure I wasn't seeing things- lmao. It has surely gone down now that the day has passed, but it gives me hope. Let's me know that all that cellulite will eventually be turned into super hard muscle!!

A leg workout and the stairmaster... yup you are contest prepping
I like lifting heavy too. Good job cutting back the weight on squats though. No Injuries!
Awsome what you saw in the mirror! I'm jealous. Just think of the things to come in the future

Thanks ;o)
Even though the weight isn't dropping yet I can tell that I have muscle some where underneath it all.. It's just nice to catch a glimpse of it, and let my mind go wondering into lala land. I tell myself just keep pushing keep eating right and eventually it's all gonna come to pass. What you've been seeing in the magazines, the message boards it's gonna be you in due time in due time.
Just can't wait to start seeing the BF% go down and start revealing all the hard work I've been putting in..
I love this program and it's only my 1st week and I'm hoping to get some awesome results from it. No magic pill, no smoking mirrors, no magic creams. I'm gonna have to get there with determination, taking one day at a time, and push push push!! By the time July 18th (my wedding) gets here I want my JAW to be dropping by the progress I made, let alone the people that see me walking down the isle. And then BRING ON my August BABY!! First ever figure show here I come!!

July Extravaganza Or Are We Just Crazy
Ok so I'm getting married July 18th in Jamaica- yeeea!!
Ok so my birthday is July 6th, My son's birthday is July 16, My daughters birthday is July 17, I'm getting married on July 18th, and my FI's birthday is July 19th.. LMAO
When I get to explaining this, people are like are you serious.. All I can say is yep!! Mind you my son wasn't due until September, and I've never dated another Cancer a day in my life until I met my FI b/c i figured there is no freakin way that 2 Cancers would ever be compatible. So now we have a house full of Cancer's- you can only imagine. But I guess the stars and GOD had something in the cards that I never thought was imaginable!!
Just thought I'd share ;o)

Lol.. HECK NO.. I have a picture posted of him on my profile go look at him.. He doesn't work out and is naturally built like that. The pictures don't do him justice he's even more cut and even bigger now. He has that awesome V cut in his ABS- GOD I LOVE THAT MAN-LOL. If he gains weight he'll go run for a few days and he's back to normal. He's one of those people you really hate. Can eat whatever hardly workouts and looks like he spends time in the gym on a consistent basis.. He's just genetically blessed, hopefully our future kids will pick up his good genes.. lol

He's awesome!! He supports me 100%. I've said this like a million times, but he wants this for more than I do. He pushes me when I need it sometimes a little bit hard but I know he's doing it out of love!! He's suppose to be getting a membership at the same GYM so that he can do the weight workouts with me and push me that much harder.. So we will see!!

Week 2
So start of week 2! I weighed in on Sunday and gained 4lbs hmmm. I have no freakin idea what the problem is!! I can't even be upset but it's weird followed the eating plan didn't miss a workout so I don't know. I'm not freakin out because my clothes are not getting tighter so what gives? I can't find my measurements from last week I thought I saved them in my spreadsheet. I have to find them and compare to see if I lost any inches..
Today was cardio and back&chest
Deadlift- 3x10x40
Bentover Row-3x6x30
Bench Press DB- 3X10X30
Pull Up- 3x6
Incline Press DB- 3X6X30
Straight Arm Pull Down- 3x6-70
Cable Crossover- 3x6x20
All in all pretty good workout this morning!! I have to get my pic and measurements over to Derek. Hopefully he can provide some insight on the weight gain..
