Not Rare At All Anymore
It was on every anniversary edition of "Enter The Dragon".
Lee's philosophy was interesting. I found it strange that he let others like Joe Lewis and Chuck Norris put all his ideas on fighting into action in the ring, instead of trying them out himself.
Maybe he wasn't so confident after all.

Geniuses come from all walks of life, and fields. You can tell by what he says, has done, and carries himself he is a certified genius. Plus, seems like a really good person.

That was a very impressive interview.
He seemed very comfortable, passionate and thoughtful.

I used to have the Enter The Dragon dvd, and this interview was on it. It was a pretty good interview, wish it was longer.

That guy was so wasp, 90% of what Bruce said went over his head.
What Bruce said about China was very true- dialogue can change the world. China went from a dirt poor agrarian nation to a superpower. The US is currently the economic superpower with only China in the US's league.

Bruce Lee was a trained actor. When he was giving the interview, he was acting too.
You all should watch his first audition in the USA. That one is the real Bruce Lee. A day and night difference from this 1973 interview. I like the rookie Bruce Lee better. Search Youtube. That first audition clip should still be there.

These are very interesting sections of his wiki biography:

Thats true, its special because this is one of the very very few interviews he ever did. I think they also played it on TV one time, or parts of it when doing an Enter the Dragon special or something.
He did partcipate in tournaments and when teaching people he obviously had to use it. To even create his martial arts system he would have had to use it. You can't just make it up without ever using it.
But I get what u mean, everyone wonders how he would do in the UFC. IMO he would kick ass in the light weight division.

I heard something like that before. He does come off as just to amazing lol. But like he pretty much said we always acting (when we are thinking of what to do), he is a damn good actor though if he was acting in that interview because it came off so natural.
Its just like the claims that he didnt make up his own philosophy and his quotes are just based off of Confucius or something lol. Although I think I remember hearing that some of his work in university was later found to be plagarized. I don't know how true that is though.

The interviewer sounded like his never seen a chinese person before. He kept on mentioning and talking down on Bruce Lee's race. Borderline racist...
