Bare Foot Deadlifting
Why do some people say that you should deadlift without footwear on? Explain.

Because you can lose some drive when you have shoes on, especially if you are wearing running shoes.

yea you lose drive and some shoes will elevate the front or back of your foot just a little bit. If you always take your shoes off for deads and squats you'll never have to worry about what shoes you are wearing to the gym.

I wear shoes with hard soles, they don't compress.
