Wow! This beats the hell out of regular push ups. No more wrist strain, longer ROM, great arm & chest exercise, shoulder freedom! Bonus: this thing forces you to keep your elbows in and keep form if you use it right.
I know what you're saying - "This guy has 16" arms and a 30% BF... he must be getting paid by this company! That *******!". But I'm not, this is really a nifty little product.
I highly recommend these things to anyone who does a lot of home workouts.
I've also tried the Perfect Pullup, which is also very nice.
Bravo to Bodyrev for making fitness a little less painful in my wrists!

what the hell does this have to do with anything? thanks for the post. it was a wonderful addition to the thread. dick.
anyway, i've always thought that these things would be good for home use, especially if you could add a weighted vest, or a backpack with some kind of weight in it. i think they're def. better than the air stepper, or any of the various ab routine pieces of **** they sell on tv. good luck man!STATS:

Wrist pain can be cause by lack flexibility which is not necessary determinate by the age. The OP is smart enough to get a program (which may not be the best but I don't know the program) that lets him workout and leave him without injury. Seem like a good buy to me.
It's easy to be a tough guys on the internet and be ass to people. Specially when you write on mybodyspace that you squat almost 400Lbs but you can barely Deadlift your own bodyweight.... See how it easy.
OP good luck on your fitness goal.Last edited by Grunts67; 03-27-2009 at 09:41 AM.

funny thread.
Gym membership $40 a month
Perfect pushups $40
You will gain more in one month at the gym using weights than you will ever develop from the PP device.
I have a set and willing to sell it asap. I've only used them a few times and had to have my gf sit on my back to get a workout. Make an offer if you want them.is not a powerlifter :-D

If you are already having wrist problems the gym isn't for you. Fix your diet and figure out what you are doing wrong. That is crazy to be my age with wrist pains. The ONLY time my shoulders ever hurt is the day after max outs. Because I have so many maxes I do that involve shoulders. It takes about 24hours and they are better.

you know, if you did other exercises besides the perfect pushup/pullup you would realize that your deadlift is only as good as your grip
OP, if you had an injury and your using the margaritaville, thats alrite i can understand. but other then that, the PP device is as useless as a treadmill in florida.

First, I never did the perfect pushup-pullup program.
Second, there is different grip that give you more strenght than a standard grip for DL. Also, there is somethings called, straps, that lets you lift somethings you are not able to hold.
Third, my DL is better than yours (5x315LBS, not that impressiveI have to say) and I hold my bar and I don't find excuse for not workout hard.
Finally, that probably the worst excuse I ever heard. You are suppose to be able to Bench 250+LBS but you aren't able to hold a 180 lbs...
If the OP like his stuff and it work for him good. What is working for you doesn't necessary work with someone else.Check my workout journal at: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=114223331

Hahhaha nice..... My buddy just got the PP ordeal and the ab rocket or whatever the case is.... He's more into the Home workouts regardless that we're in the military and have free gyms but hey.... He likes them... I do not.. The only thing I use a home is a straight pullupbar that is in my bathroom door.

And your advice is almost useless as your ignorance.
No, I don't use PP as my primary workout. It's a nice gadget that allows me to get a good chest workout at home when I'm bored without hurting my wrist. Yes, it is possible to have chronic joint pain before the age of 40.My Journal:

I love the negs on this page. It's hilarious. 30% fatty complaining he can't do pushups and someone saying diet has nothing to do with it. Last I recalled every part of your body inside and out is affected by what you consume. INCLUDING cartilage, and bone health. I've worked at a prison for a long time and I've seen results you can get from push up blocks/PP gimmicks. Medium custody was allowed to use weights, while close and max was not they could only use blocks. And well, no one using blocks has ever got big. Maybe cut, (not because of the blocks because of diet)not big. As a superset or post workout boredom workout the PP would be ok. But, it can not replace freeweights. If you have chronic joint pain, chances are you either didn't get the proper nutrition, or you did something really bad to your joints. I think the best replacement for the same cost is a set of 25lb DBs.

thus if you read my post I also said, it's fine if it's what? Did I say you use it for your only workout. Because of the amount of defense you put up. I'm pretty sure that is your only workout now. And broke your wrist in high school? dude I've had my forearm come out of my skin, my knee bend backwards, broke my thumb where the bone popped out of my palm. And I have no problems. I hate the stupid excuses some people come up with. I love the guys who complain about their, knee, leg, ankle etc so they can't do squats. I actually have a close friend who does it every time. To get him to do legs I have to tell him I'm doing chest, he then complains about his shoulder so I jump to the squat rack. Pretty pathetic. If lifting hurts you that bad it's not worth it.
