Hey guys!!
Quick Hello from home before I dash off to work again for my 6pm...
I left workout at 1:15 today (Had been there since 8:15), ate lunch, and headed off to my women's gym to get my arm/shoulder/hiit workout in. It was decent...no complaints. I can't do shoulder presses there because the machines are ANCIENT and mess with my RC, and the dumbbells only go up to 40s. So I just did some isolation work, then arms, then hiit the Stepper for HIIT.
Really excited for the party tonight...I WILL NOT BE DRINKING!!! Come on, you guys know me better than that
Have an awesome night, and i'll holla at y'all in the mo'ning!!!!

Jaime, I will still text you tomorrow when I'm on the road to give a more accurate ETA, but this is what I know as of now.
My friend is expecting to pick me up around 11-12 which would have us reaching TO around 4-5ish if we don't stop and there is no bad traffic. If we factor in traffic, finding the hotel and checking in, and some pit stops along the way for food, I think it's safe to estimate that I would be ready for a workout around 7ish.
I did legs tonight so it'll have to be something upper body. I read this morning that you did shoulders and arms today, so maybe we could do chest and back? Give it some thought and let me know. My upper body was completed on Monday and Tuesday so I'll be fine with whatever you want to do. Just make sure I have some energy left to walk around the expo on Saturday
Also, what is the price of a day pass at this gym? And are firearms permitted there? Because I have a couple of guns I was planning on bringing.
See you tomorrow.Last edited by S.O.u.L.m.A.N; 08-27-2009 at 06:08 PM.

T-18.
Hope you have a good time at the party! Even if you have to leave a little on the early side to get up at the crack of 5am. Just be aware that in T-18 that the 5 am wake up deal may or may not get pushed back a little.....No excuses, just performance...

Good point on being able to sleep past 5am....although I recall this resulted in like 4 hours of sleep because you still got up at 7.
And the birthday weekend commences! I count Friday as part of the weekend....just because.....No excuses, just performance...

Hey guys!!!
I'm so super stoked to train tonight!!! Soulman's ride got delayed, so we're going to hit the weights around 8/8:30 tonight instead of 7:30. Ain't no thang I've got my meals and my Xtend ready, so I should be good to go!
I had my 3 clients today, and 1 demo. The demo chick was sooooo appreciative. She said that no body had EVER taught her how to use the weights before (even when she signed up), and so she was actually afraid to touch the machines/dumbbells (which I can understand from a first time's point of view...especially in a gym like mine). That's why I love the concept of the demos I have to do: We pull people off the floor (or cardio machines), and give them a taste of what it's like to work with a trainer. Hopefully, they purchase sessions with us...but if not, no body's times been wasted because we (as trainers) get the opportunity to practice our craft (which we SHOULD love), and the member still gets a HELLA AWESOME workout...so win-win!!!
Tomorrow I'm probably going to spend the day hanging out with Dave at the comic book convention, and then train downtown in the gym we're going to tonight. I'm excited! I've never been to one of these things...Don't even know what to expect!
I'll post the workout tomorrow morning, depending on what time I get home...Have a great night guys!!
7 would've been nice...try 6...6:30....
YEAH BUDDY!
May I post that in the "motivation" section of the forums?
GET ONE ALREADY!!!! WHAT'S STOPPING YOU!?!?
We can share I'm glad you appreciate the motivation Nori!
Woooo!!!
BT rocks my socks!
Hurro thurr!!!
They haven't really changed because I was losing consistently on what I was given. I'm just going a lot more cardio now to take the legs down...
Aww...thanks D!! I appreciate it!
You too B!

Morning guys!!!
Update:
I woke up lighter today than I've been since I was 10 weeks out from my show this time last year...so technically, if I was still doing the Nov 21 show...I'd be 2 weeks ahead of schedule Oh well...
I had an AWESOME evening last night!!!
SOULMAN is incredibly fun to spend time with. We chilled from about 7:45 - 8:15, worked out for an hour, then headed back and hung out til close to midnight. It was really fun!
I'm not going to post the workout, because i don't remember most of it, lol, but I don't think I hit a PR...I got the 50s up on incline bench which I haven't done in a while, and I 1-arm cable rowed 75lb, but I don't think I did anything PR worthy...
Oh yeah!!! In Dave's hotel (which was the host hotel for the convention), I saw a boatload of people dressed up in costumes; they're really getting into character here. And I thought about how weird it was, and how I must've been (by accident) looking at them funny. Then it occurred to me: What if I brought one of them to a bodybuilding competition? How would they react to that? A boatload of people dressed up (or rather, half naked), all of them with a fake ugly tan color on, prancing around on stage. NO DOUBT they'd be looking at me funny!!! So it was just cool to see what people with different interests do when they get together.
I'm excited to check out the scene today, and then maybe show Dave around downtown. I'll be back on later this aft/evening to let you guys know how it went....BBING.COM MEMBERS IS AWESOME!
Motivation of the Day:
Not a figure chick, but an inspiration to me none the less....
** p.s. look closely from 0:55 - 1:30 (you may see someone you know...)
What I'm reading:http://www.********/family/index.jsp...JFLVC-KE469-v1 - I'm going to get my own supplement line one day...just wait...
Thanks babe...so far, so good...
Yessir.
Why thank you my dear...
Somewhere in the world it's happy hours?
We'll be juuuuuuust fine in NYC
