sick of all these damn arms threads, arms are overrated
the most important body part for a bodybuilder is the shoulders.

Its true, if you've got shoulders and hardly any triceps you'll still look big, very useful commodity to have

my seated presses are with 80 DB each hand for a good 8 reps.
my fav press however; is the standing behind the neck barbell press - 133lbs for 12
People say btn presses are dangerous and they can be if you're not careful. always stop at about ear level and avoid a balistic upward thrust.
my body mechanics make btn presses (for delts) and pulls (for back) very comfortable. so i suggest everyone should give it a shot and see if it works for them or not. just start light!http://www.********.com/valenzuelatech

this is true but sometimes its good to cheat a little (AS LONG AS THE MOVEMENT IS STILL CONTROLLED.) to overload the muscle.
dont trap yourself into non-growth by doing super strict reps with very light weight.
as you can see in the video im getting a bit of a push from my lower body but thats just to get the weight past sticking point.http://www.********.com/valenzuelatech

i can understand what you mean brah,
for the past 4 years i did super strict side laterals with the wrists in the "pouring water position"
this developed my delts but as the weight moved up i got terrible joint and wrist pains.
give the kettlebell grip a go
-grip the dumbell thumbless YES THUMBLESS!
-when the weight goes up your elbows should be higher than your wrist
-let your wrists hang
-dont tense up your neck area, this will bring the traps into play
this is how you train the side delts the way you're body was naturally meant to move.
to test this: relax your body and extend your shoulder out to the side, what happens?
your elbow will be higher than your wrist, wrist hanging and relaxed.
yeah, now try it with dumbellsLast edited by Valenzuelatech; 03-26-2009 at 03:18 AM.

Its a matter of cheating but still using the muscle and at the same time avoiding injury.
