Question Seated or Standing Side Laterals??

I see alot of people doing both in many videos, is there really much of a difference in doing then seated or stading? If one is better than the other from some reason please inform ha

standing your core works a bit to keep you stable
sitting youre alot less likely to swing the weights like a big jerkoff

im not comfortable sitting, i do em standing also because i cheat on the last couple reps and it makes it easier

Like ramrod said, seated just keeps your from bouncing and swinging the weight up. The cure for needing to swing or bounce is use less weight.

^^^ ya pretty much what they said, when your standing you can kinda cheat a bit...doing em seated is a bit more difficult, i prefer doing it seated

I cheat a little on the standing and am more strict with seated... That said I do both.
