How much money...
Would you need to save up in liquid cash, to quit your day job and travel the world or do nothing for a year or so while being able to pay your bills and other expenses while away and have no stress?

Well a 7 night trip to Jamaica is costing my soon to be fiance and I 3 g's. So I'm going to guess quite a bit.

it really depends on how well you can spend your money and where you go, i've been looking into it and have a lot of buddies that have traveled a lot, i had a buddy(very good with money) who went to europe for 4 months on 5 grand including airfare which was around 1500 dollars, i had another buddy( very bad with money, splurges a lot etc.) who went to aussie for 3 months and spent over 10 grand
so it depends who you are, id say 15000-20000 is a good estimate, also if you plan on going to many different places you can get a star alliance world ticket which allows you to travel a certain mileage with any of the star alliance airlines. http://www.airtimetable.com/star_all...orld_fares.htm

$10 Million should suffice, I could do with less and have some investments running to keep generating that moolah
Edit: For a year I'd say $50k for good vacations or you can take $10k and live like a king in Asia for a year
