    Most Weight Gained in 1 Week On Any Lift?

    just wondering if anyone else has had a pretty big jump in weight in any lift.

    Mine is Flat BBell Bench.

    Last Week i struggled putting up 57.5kg for 6 reps. then yesterday i was aiming to get 60kg got 6 reps really easily, tried 65kg got that up fairly easy. so i tried 70kg and got 6 reps outta it!

    So i went up 12.5kg in a lift in 1 week. anyone else done something similar?

    lol yea, last week i did dumbell bench, i did 65x5, 70x3, 65x5, 65x2, 60x3

    and this week i did it and got 65x5 70x5 70x5 70x5 and 70x4 it was ridiculous. then afterschool i went back and picked up 75 got it 4, then did a second set got it 3, then did one more rep of it and left. i was like uhhhhhh wtf.

    I don't know about you, but somedays I have way more energy than others.

    That seems to be a pretty significant gain in only a week, but if it's the real deal grats man. Keep up the hard work.

    That mainly has to due with good/bad days and energy levels, you didn't magically get that much stronger throughout the week.

    when I first started front squatting I maxed at 195, next week I got 275, sometimes it's just finding your perfect form
    I bodybuild, I don't powerlift, as far as how much I can lift goes it doesn't matter to me, it's how much I grow.

    might be that, coz it felt way more natural this week. + i only started going heavy on DB mill press and CGBP last week to maybe that helped.

    srsly... ive gone up 20 kilos on deadlift in one week... done it twice now... both after 2 weeks of cutting... (next to now carbs)..

    this, you got a little physically stronger, but if you gained 12.5kg on your bench it was mainly due to your form and mind.
