On Christmas morning a Drugdealer/Shooting suspect shot at some of my fellow officers while they were investigating a earlier shooting by him, he almost shot them, some kids and a ederly women, when i got to the scene i saw the vehicle he was in and a 30 minute pursuit in a tight neighborhood followed, when he jumped out, i jumped out and begian to chase him. He jumped a fence about waist high and i grabbed him by the shirt all of a sudden i heard some popping and just fell to the ground forcing me to let go of his shrt, i tried to get back up but i couldn't. I then looked down and saw that both of my knee's were discombobulated (sp?), i tried to get back up again but nothing....other officer's arrived and thought i was shot.

I ruptured both patella tendons and reruptured them again about a month ago while recovering from the first surgery
