Smile Miami South Beach in 3 Weeks!!!

Hey folks... I'm going down to South Beach the weekend of April 10th. I want to be in incredible shape!!!

Currently 157, 5'8", 30" waist

My diet is on point (5 - 7 meals every 2-3 hours).
sample:

1st: 2 bcaa pills, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 2 scoops whey, 1/2 banana, 2 cups soy milk
2nd: 1 can tuna, celery
3rd: chicken breast, lettuce
4th: 4 egg whites, apple, 3 slices deli chicken breast
post workout: 2 scoops whey, 2 cups soy milk, 2 bcaa, 5 g creatine
5th: steak, brocoli
6th: 2 scoops whey, 2 bcaa

Right now I'm drinking between 1 - 1.5 gallons of water per day.

In terms of workout, would you suggest that I lift light w/ more reps, or lift heavy? I was thinking lifting heavy this week and the last 2 weeks lift lighter w/ more reps. Note: i work out 6 days per week. splits. and do cardio 6 days per week for 20 minutes (walk 135-148 heart rate).

I bought some taraxatone that I plan on taking 5 days out also.

I know alot of you all are in excellent shape or have alot of knowledge and any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Depending on what you really want.. if you need a little more bulk creatine adds a little size to the muscles....
And it sounds silly but back off the red meat and go fish chicken turkey.
Stop the whey a few days before you leave.


I would seriously think about going heavy and staying heavy.. Max OT or something. but its allways a good time for Max OT

Just do what you're doing. You can cut carbs to cut even more water weight along with the diuretic but be careful with that crap, you can make yourself feel really weak and feel sick.

Thanks Tiggis! I appreciate the advice... I'm really not concerned w/ bulking. I want to keep my size, but increase definition (particularly in the core). One question I have for you though:

Why would I want to cut out the whey a few days prior?

Thanks! I will be careful w/ the taraxatone... do you think 5 days out is too long for the diuretic, or do you think I should wait longer... say 1 - 3 days out?

There was some talk at one time that it made you look a little softer or bloated. I do not have a link to prove it though, just something I remember from BB discussion.

2) I have found a healthy medium between clean and "cheat" foods. I have "cheat" foods everyday. Moderation is key.

3) the Nutrition and Losing Fat section have a lot of problems. Paralysis by Analysis. Get back to the BASICS.

thanks tiggis. as a matter of fact, i just ran out of whey last night... just got back from purchasing some more

i really may try to cut it out a few days in advance and see how that works out!
