I want to add oatmeal to my protein shake... should I add it to the blender raw or cooked? Please advise.

Ground, raw oats works just fine. Throw them in your blender for 20 seconds to chop them finely. A coffee grinder works even better. The texture won't be very good with water alone, so you might want to use milk or a frozen banana to make it easier on the throat.

I just chuck a bag of oats into my blender, non-cooked, just dry, get them into a fine powder then chuck em into an old protein tub.

That way you can just take a few scoops when you need.

    No need to cook em'

    ^^ what he said.

every morning, i grind raw oats in a small coffee grinder and throw that into the blender with milk, my ON vanilla ice-cream whey protein, a spoon of wheat germ, freshly ground spoon of flax seed (also in coffee grinder), a banana, and a pinch of cinammon.

    it. is. delicious.

My every morning is 200grams of oats with half litre of milk, and 3 decilitres of water, and in separated bowl - cottage cheese.

It takes about hour and half to eat the whole thing!

Saliva is needed to apsorb complex carbohydrates so I'm chewing like horse.
my english is bad just like my attitude.
