Lets say I ate a 5500 calorie pizza (I didnt, but just for examples sake). And I spent 2000 calories doing regular walking and stuff. How long would it take for that extra 3500 to show up as fat on my body / show up as an extra pound of fat on the scale?
Thnx

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think that the body is that efficient. After I certain point of calorie excess, I think that the body starts to poop out what it does not need. Itrs hard to lose more than about 2lbs of fat a week, so I guess it would be equally as difficult to gain fat as quickly.
That said, if you continued eating at a high excess, your increased size and weight would slowly increase you BMR ans you gained weigh and would would use a higher proporion of calories.2010 Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121533211
