life style/in-denial people

So unfortunately I have a small room and am not a member of a gym because looking for a job.... (life is an adventure, aaahhh!!!)

My goal is to have enough muscle so that I can maintain a life of exercise.

I need the muscle my body craves, what are my chances of making this move, and what do I do when the people around me are obese and I actually look skinny compared. How do people fit stresses of hereditary, jod and life change. btw I am also a vegan so is there anything to my diet I can do that may help my body?

why dont you women up a little and start eat lean meat a little, that would help you...cause even if you dont buy that steak, theyre just gonna lower the price and ill buy 2 so you aint doing the cow any good!

Oh yeah you should start doing jogging a couple time a week and eat less, espiecally in the evening.

You could also buy some Dumbells at wall mart and start lifting weight a little bit, 20 min of weight followed by 30 min of cardio 4 time a week and add a clean diet and your set for result

I actually agree with this. being a vegan really reduces the variety of the food you need.

Building muscle for a vegan is no big deal.

Well first of all, if ur hotter than everyone around you, flaunt it lol, feel good about the accomplishments you will make

Stresses? Working out for a few hours and then sitting in a sauna to relax after will melt away all of your stresses. You will feel as though you have just had a massage, and not even a traffic jam will be able to bother you... oh wait u got no gym.. change that to bath? i guess

i would really suggest trying to get a gym membership though, its much easier to stick to a routine and stay motivated when you have a place to go, and when other people are working out around you.

The bodies here are so amazing, thanks everyone who posted, it was the first time I have ever seen my body semi clothed and I was disappointed I described myself as a size 10, I think not, I am relieved nobody was virtually sick and threw-up at the female specimen I am .
Everyone who replied thanks a bunch I will surely up my game and hope to post my changes as I am going through them.
At the mo I am sprinting with 1min breaks. I find that I like running when my heart beats 100mph or so. I just need to remember in the evening this is not a great idea (ppl freak out when I come behind them huffing ). Anyhow I will get reading all the external articles and consider everyones advice. I have began with semi push ups, sit ups, crunches and aerobics, I know I have to seal my mouth, stay away from people who can jeopardize my progress (until I have a daily exercise routine and have formed a super mind to tackle all this no good ****).

Maria,

You should head over to the female bodybuilding section and they will be able to offer you good advice if you tell them your goals. Don't let anyone tell you that you need to eat 1,000 calories a day or any of these other ridiculous notions that are sometimes thrown at women. If I were you I'd eat at least 1,600/day no matter what and likely start higher than that. The more calories you can eat and still lose weight the better off you will be. Try to reduce carbs and increase protein in the evening and night as well. Good luck!

I would drop the whole vegan thing unless you can figure out how to get adequate amounts of protein in. I don't think your gonna get many vegan sympathizers here because it's not an optimal way to gain muscle... eating meat is very natural so do yourself a favor and reconsider it.

This vegan diet is some stupid hippie fad that came up over the past 50 years... it isn't healthy or natural or else we would have been doing it for thousands of years. My guess is any prehistoric cave man vegans probably died cold hungry and alone while all the meat eaters were busy kicking their asses into extinction and getting sht done.

Also, switching to meat will probably help you find a man (another one of life's little adventures) because not only will it improve your physical appearance by promoting muscle growth, but no real man will want put up w/ any vegan bull**** for long. When I hear the same tired spiel about vegetarian this or vegan that it makes me want to shoot myself. Just some food for thought.

That said getting into the habit of exercising will be good for you so do whatever you deem necessary to get the job done.

Don't believe the vegan bashing threads.
Check my links and read the advice from mike mahler:

One of the healthiest and compassionate things that you can do for yourself and our world is adopt a vegan/vegetarian diet. In addition to helping you lose fat and have a clearer mind, you will be able to sleep comfortably at night knowing that you did not contribute to the immense suffering that the meat industry causes for animals. When done properly, a vegan/vegetarian diet will increase your energy, improve your health, and enhance all of your fitness goals. Whether you want to lose fat, gain muscle, or increase your overall fitness level, a vegan/vegetarian diet can easily be tailored to fit all of your fitness goals.

I dunno man. I'm not saying it can't be done but its gotta be incredibly difficult... even if you introduced something as harmless as fish into your diet you would be waaaaaaaaay better off then going straight vegan.

The body can adapt and sort itself out when there is a directed path.
I know how much commitment is required I was laking motivation and clarity, a good analogy is : knowing how to build websites but having to upgrade n write sophisticated codes.

What I am thinking is if protein exists in veggi then it can be done, it may even take avocados and tofu all year round.
Ppl who think being vegan is hard well its not really, its like taking eating to its bare necessities, now and then a desert will be a fruit or juice.

It just shows that how ill informed some of us are when clearly 'veganmuscle', DietNaziBJJ' are managing fine with their diet.

And CyborgX I didnt realize this is the male section of the forum, I am going to carry on checking this post and soak all the comments.
Attached is some progress pics -/day 3/-. Thanks all.
