Whats a gal to do?
I just wanted to know how you ladies deal with food and being social. I guess I never realized just how much of life is centered around food!
Getting together with friends=Food
Meeting my sister up for dinner= Food
Hanging out with my husband & co-workers= Food!
AHHHH!! FOOD FOOD EVERYWHERE!
How do you all deal with the temptation & the social aspect of food?
I do have my cheat day, but sometimes things pop up and BAM before I know it Im stuck going to 4 different dinner functions in 1 week! I dont care so much about the looks I get when I say I cant have something, but damn its hard to say no to so much! Its more the inner voice in me. Does that make sense?

I will eat at home before I hit the social event. Once I get there I might have a salad or some kind of veges. If it's all day event then I will pack a cooler and keep it in the car...I've had to do this many times for contest prep.

You could, though I'm not a fan of protein bars. Don't laugh but I've packed small bags of sliced chicken breast, even steak, almonds, fruit...works in a pinch!!

Usually, I'll just have a salad and LOTS of water (or diet coke if I"m really craving something) but I always have some almonds and protein powder in my car, along with pouches of tuna and cans of green beans w/ the flip top lids...lol
