Choose your consequences

When you control the causes, the effects will be to your liking. What you get from any experience or situation depends primarily on what you put into it. Those who are wise, have made the effort to learn. Those who are wealthy, have made the effort to earn.

Output depends on input. Input depends on you. What you are giving will determine how you are living. You can get whatever you desire by taking the steps that will cause it to happen. Everything you do has a consequence. Use that reality to your advantage. Choose your ideal consequences by carefully choosing your actions.

Get prepared
There are plenty of great opportunities in this world, and new opportunities come along every day. Making the most of those opportunities requires preparation. Success is not dependent so much on access to opportunity as it is on the amount of preparation that has preceded the opportunity.

Preparation is not usually very exciting. In the short term it can be tedious and uninspiring. Yet is pays off in big ways. When you are prepared, you can make the most of the good times. When you are prepared, you can thrive even in the difficult times.

Tomorrow will come. Are you doing anything today to prepare for it? As the months and years pass by, and they surely will, the preparation you do right now will bring much added value to your life. Do you ever wish you could be lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time? With enough preparation, you can surely and reliably put yourself exactly there.

To improve your results, first improve your expectations. When you truly expect to earn more money, you naturally find a way to do so. When you respect others enough to expect the best of them, they'll come through with a stellar performance.

Base your expectations not on what has happened in the past. Rather, let your expectations be guided by what you desire for the future. Set your expectations free of the artificial limits imposed by previous disappointments. You have every reason to expect the very best for the future. When you do, you will most certainly find a way to make it happen.

Amazing thread ... we need more threads on this topic . It is easier to motivate others but to self motivate is really difficult. Like when I am in a crisis and I see no hope and I realize that I am stressed in such case positive thinking is a must. One should build up strong will power and stay there in hope of success. But this is difficult . Only the positive thinking could help one out of the crisis.Self-motivation doesn't come naturally to everyone. And even those who are highly self-motivated need some extra help every now and then.Therefore it necessary to develop good friends,who are positive thinkers and good humans.This I believe is very important.Being surrounded by a great family and friends is the most important thing.
Our attitude and beliefs about our success can predicted. Setting goals and work hard to achieve them. If you actively keep your internal motivation high, you can significantly increase the likelihood of achieving your hopes, dreams, and visions of the future. Live life to the fullest...

Sadly i cannot expect anything from anyone, even those who i trust and those who love me i learned a lesson, the only thing that i expect is from myself and not from anyone else. Flow and focus
To accomplish anything requires focus. The more highly focused, the more spectacular the accomplishment. Yet we must be careful not to confuse focus with narrow mindedness. We must indeed stay focused, and we must also be aware of, open to, and accepting of the opportunities that come our way.

Opportunity rarely comes in the form we expect and plan for. The challenge of successful living is to gather the many and varied opportunities which come to us on a daily basis, and direct them toward the objectives we have defined. To do that requires discipline, confidence, belief and commitment.

Life will flow your way if you let it. This is not a magical, mystical notion, but rather a very practical concept. The "raw material" for success comes in each moment of living. Spend those moments, and their accompanying opportunities, toward some definite purpose, and you'll accomplish it. Life is always flowing. Jump in and swim along.

Know it is possible
Knowing that something is possible is a significant step toward achieving it. As soon as you know, without a doubt, that you can achieve it, in many ways you immediately begin to benefit from it.

Of course achievement requires more than just knowing you can do it. You must actually take the steps which will make it happen. However, those efforts come much more readily when you know that they will surely lead where you desire to go.

Look at all the things others have achieved. Consider everything you have already accomplished. Know that what you desire is possible. Convince yourself of it. See yourself living it in every detail. Fully and sincerely expect it, and you're well on the way to having it.

As for the last daily motivator it couldn't be more true and I am still trying to accomplish and become who I see myself as for the future and for my family.

Make it yours


Don't wait for someone to give you permission to succeed and achieve. Get yourself busy and do it. Don't wait for someone to tell you how to do it. Take it upon yourself to figure it out. Don't wait for just the right situation. Don't count on being lucky. Do what it takes to make your own good fortune.

Learn from others. Seek the advice, input and feedback of those whose opinions you respect. But don't depend on anyone or anything to do it for you. Make the best of fortunate situations, but don't depend on luck or chance.

Depend on those things over which you have the most direct control -- your own thoughts and actions, your ability to make the choices which will lead to precisely where you have decided to go.

Your destiny is in your hands. Think like it and act like it with each passing moment. Take hold of that destiny and make it the best it can possibly be.

There would be no time wasted in being angry or taking offense or worrying. The limitations you've placed on yourself would completely disappear.

Just think of how much you could accomplish. Just think of the possibilities you could fulfill. Just think of the clear and refreshing sense of freedom it would bring.

The fact is, you can do it today. You can indeed be free of your own limitations, free from useless anger, worry, and despair. Decide to expand your focus beyond those familiar old self concerns which hold you down. Lose yourself in your own positive possibilities, and see what great things you can make happen today.

Simple or easy?
There's a big difference between simple answers and easy answers. Simple answers are usually powerful and effective, yet challenging. Easy answers are usually appealing, but not very effective, and can even be dangerous.

Let's say you need to lose weight. The simple answer is -- get more regular exercise and eat a more nutritionally balanced diet. That's simple enough, and though often difficult to follow, usually effective. The easy answer is -- take this pill and eat anything you want. Very appealing, but it probably won't work.

You can spot an easy answer because it is something you want to hear. Even though it may not make much sense, if you want to hear it badly enough you can make yourself believe it. You can spot simple answers because they seem so obvious, even though they may be a bit challenging.

When there's a simple answer and an easy answer, the best choice is almost always the simple answer. It may not be what you want to hear, but it is probably what you need to do.
