The big picture
If you're letting the little things get to you, perhaps the big things aren't compelling enough. When your focus and direction are feeble and ill-defined, the smallest, most trivial distraction -- whether it is positive or negative -- can swirl you around like a feather in the wind.
Where are you headed? What do you intend to accomplish? What undeniable purpose is pushing you forward? Answer these questions with confidence and clarity, and there's almost nothing that can stop you.
It's impossible to be focused, if there's nothing to focus upon. Yet when the goal is clearly visualized and meaningful enough to you, it becomes almost impossible to ignore. With a destination that is clear and compelling enough, you'll do whatever it takes to find your way there.M O O N spells LBM

Don't sell yourself short
Remember as you go through the day that you are more than just a number in someone's computer, more than just a dispensable part of the system. You are a living, breathing person, completely unique in all of history.
You can think and reason. You can make intelligent decisions. You can create. You can explore. You can seek the truth and find joy in the beauty around you. You can give your love and compassion to others. You can change things that anger or frustrate you. You can make a difference in your life and the lives of others.
You are alive with possibilities, no matter what has happened to you in the past, no matter what other people think or say about you, no matter what your situation. There is something you can do today that will continue to fulfill the special, priceless bundle of possibilities that is you.
There is more to you than anyone could possibly imagine. Do all you can to let that shine through.M O O N spells LBM

Create
Creativity does not get used up. In fact, the more you exercise your creativity, the more you have of it. Creativity feeds upon itself. What may at first seem like a small, insignificant idea, can grow into something substantial when you let the creativity continue to flow.
A magnificent painting begins with a single brush stroke, creatively applied. One creative act leads to another, and soon you have a masterpiece. We often imagine creativity as being on a grand scale, and yet it is in the grainy texture of life that true creativity occurs.
Anyone, anywhere can be creative. It's just a matter of opening the mind, stepping outside the comfortable box of your limitations, then putting into form and action the original thoughts which come to you.
Create, and then create again. Allow your creativity to build upon its own energy, into something of unique value and beauty.M O O N spells LBM

Explore
Have you ever turned down an unfamiliar road, just to see where it would lead? Maybe you got lost, yet you eventually found your way back. And in the process, you very likely discovered something new.
To make new discoveries, requires that you put yourself in unfamiliar territory. If you stick with the comfortable and the familiar, there will be many things that you'll never even know about.
How often do you venture away from the familiar? How often do you meet new people, consider beliefs different from your own, try food that you've never eaten, or allow your assumptions to be challenged?
Going into unfamiliar territory will not destroy your old, comfortable world. Rather, it will expand your world, your vision, your knowledge and your possibilities. The next time you come across a road that you've never traveled -- whether it is an idea, a person, a belief system, or an actual road -- take a side trip and make your world a bigger, more interesting place.M O O N spells LBM

You have life
Even if you have nothing else, you have something more precious than the purest gold, more rare and desirable than the brightest diamond. You have life.
You can sense, you can think and you can reason. You can make decisions and then act on them.
You can make a difference, no matter what. Even if you were to lose everything else, you would still retain the ability to become the person you decide to become and to live in the way you have determined to live.
At times it may seem that the whole world is against you. But that assessment is based on past history, and the past does not equal the future.
That's because you stand solidly in the present. You're able to break free of whatever has happened in the past and to create your future in the way you desire.
Today, in this moment, in this place, you have life, and the countless possibilities it brings. Truly appreciate what you have, and with it you can do spectacular things.

Persist now
Persistence will win over just about any advantage. The longer you persist, the closer you are to winning. Even when you are constantly beaten back, even when the road is steep and strewn with giant boulders, keep going.
The value of your accomplishment increases with every difficulty you encounter on the way to it. And you must persist in order to realize that value. Whatever it takes, keep going. Every moment you persist builds equity in your dream.
The glory, the joy, the fulfillment of life come from persistence through the troubles, the frustrations and the obstacles. You already know that. You've experienced it before. And now, today, is yet another opportunity to keep going, to persist through whatever may come.
It's the best opportunity you could possibly imagine. So make the most of it. Keep going. Persist in your efforts. And fulfill your own incredible possibilities.M O O N spells LBM

Rare value
Diamonds have numerous practical applications in drills and other cutting tools, but that is not what makes diamonds so valuable. Authentic diamonds are valuable because they are so rare and difficult to come by.
That's useful to remember when you are faced with limitations. Those limitations give value to whatever you're working to accomplish. The more difficult the achievement, the more valuable it is.
Diamonds have value because you must dig long and hard in order to find one. If they were scattered around everywhere on the ground, they would not be worth much. In fact, you would probably have to pay someone if you wanted them hauled away.
So too with achievement. The things that come easy, with little or no effort, have little or no value. To create something of great value, you generally must overcome a challenge of great magnitude.
Are you digging for diamonds, or just shoveling dirt? Seek out the challenges. They are what bring value.M O O N spells LBM

Live as it comes
Too often we give in to the temptation to push the fast forward button, to skip ahead to the next page before we've read the one we're on. As if jumping ahead will somehow make things better, or easier, or more exciting.
The beauty and the joy of life come in living it through. Skipping ahead or jumping back will serve only to cheat you out of the magnificent now.
Live life as it comes. Really live, each moment at a time. String them together, one after the other. Listen to the whole symphony from beginning to end, and savor each passage. Watch the shadows change as the sun rises in the east and works its way across the sky each day. Feel the wind against your face as it grows cooler and then warm.
Take the time to listen, to know, to love those around you. What a beautiful gift is all of creation and the awareness that you have of it. Drink in every particle.M O O N spells LBM

Expect it
What do you expect to gain from reading this message? What do you expect to accomplish today? What do you expect to get done in the next hour? How responsible do you expect your children to be? How courteous do you expect the ticket agent will be to you?
Your expectations largely define your outcomes. You rarely ever do much better than you expect to do, and you rarely ever do much worse. Most often, you get just about exactly what you expect.
Even when circumstances change, you adjust your actions so that your expectations continue to be met. Whatever you expect of yourself will happen, because you'll do anything necessary to make it happen. Your mind is a powerful goal-seeking device. The more consistently you keep your mind on your positive expectations, the faster they will become a reality.
In your expectations there is great power. You can expect whatever you choose to expect. So expect the best. And that's what you'll get.M O O N spells LBM

Can you see it?
What if everything you could ever want were sitting right in front of you, ready for you to make it yours, and you didn't even realize it was there?
What if you were so accustomed to thinking in terms of lack and limitation that you were unable to see the magnificent abundance that was all around you? What if every day was beautiful and you did not realize it?
What if you were already well on the way to becoming the person you want to be, and didn't realize it?
What if every problem you encountered, gave you the strength and determination needed to turn it into an opportunity.
What if today were to end before you decided to make the very most of it?M O O N spells LBM

One thing better
Don't despair that you can't immediately make everything better. You can always make one thing better.
Then, you can continue that momentum, making another improvement, and another, and another. You can start right now.
Even one little success is empowering. It points you in a decidedly positive direction.
What if you could see each little nagging problem as the opportunity for improvement that it is? You would realize that there's no shortage of ways to be successful.
You already have everything necessary to start right now and create a continuous stream of value. One positive, effective, meaningful effort will get you going.
Feel how right it feels to make your world better. Delight in making a difference, over and over again.

Do it today
There's something you've been putting off. There's something you've been meaning to do, and you've been waiting for the perfect time to do it.
Today is that time. Today is the day for going ahead with it. Right now is the time to make the first step, to get started. Don't wait any longer. If you intend to do it, prove it with your actions today. Make a true commitment. Go beyond "thinking about it." Thinking is a great way to start. Now you must take action.
Are conditions absolutely perfect today? No, they will never be. Every day from now until the end of time there will be a completely reasonable, entirely valid excuse for not going forward. You must ask yourself if you're ready to stop wasting your energy on excuses and start putting that energy to work with your actions.
Choose to go forward today. Commit to the future with your positive action. Right now there is a step you can take. Get going now and soon you'll be all the way there.M O O N spells LBM

Enjoy where you are
There is nothing which is intrinsically enjoyable. What one person enjoys, another person will despise. Enjoyment comes from your attitude toward a particular situation, not the situation itself.
Too many people search in vain for enjoyable activities, enjoyable relationships, enjoyable environments, enjoyable entertainment. A much more successful strategy would be to stop searching and start enjoying.
The enjoyment is not in the activity. The enjoyment is in you. Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, find a way to enjoy it. Sure, it's great when you aspire to bigger and better things. But don't fool yourself into thinking that they'll come pre-packaged with their own enjoyment. That is up to you.
Perhaps you didn't choose to be where you are, and it's great that you're committed to getting somewhere else. Yet while you're here, accept it and enjoy it. Enjoying where you are right now will take you a long way toward wherever else you wish to go.M O O N spells LBM

Expectations
When you treat people as if they're no good, they'll prove you right almost every time. Expectations make a significant difference in performance and results.
What do you expect of yourself? What do you expect of others? Expectations are often a self-fulfilling prophecy. So it makes sense to expect the very best.
Is that reasonable when past experience proves otherwise? Yes, because people can change. You can change. And the beginning of that change is often a change in expectations. The way to get the best out of yourself and others is to expect the best.
No matter how disappointed you've been in the past, with yourself or with someone else, the way to start getting positive results is with positive expectations. Expect the best. Proceed under the assumption that you'll get the best, from yourself and others, and you're well on your way to getting it.M O O N spells LBM

Be free
If you are quick to take offense, then you'll be under the control of those whom you find offensive. If you are easily angered, then your actions will be dictated by those who anger you. If you are obsessed by what other people think, then you will be imprisoned by their thoughts.
If you yearn for easy answers and quick solutions, you'll fall prey to people who offer nothing but promises. If you find the truth too difficult to bear, you'll be enslaved to those who tell you what you want to hear.
When you have the courage to think for yourself, the strength to accept what is, the commitment and discipline to make a difference, then you are free. You are truly free to live with purpose, joy and fulfillment.
Let your life be defined not by your reactions to what others do, say or think, but rather by your own unique vision. Raise your eyes above the pettiness and follow the path of the greatness that is within you.M O O N spells LBM

Discouragement
Are you discouraged? If you've invested enough effort and energy to get to the point where you're discouraged, you're well on your way to success. Discouragement is a certain waystation on the road to any worthwhile achievement.
If you know enough to be discouraged, and if you care enough to be discouraged, then you've made considerable progress. Learn what the discouragement has to teach you and then continue moving forward. It may seem as though you'll never make it, but in reality you already are. It would be a shame to be stopped by mere discouragement. It is there to temper and harden you, not to stop you.
Be discouraged for a little while. Reflect on your discouragement and you'll discover that it is a result of your commitment. You've already invested your time, your efforts, your life. Soon you'll reap the full reward of that investment. Feel the discouragement and let it spur you on.M O O N spells LBM

The details
Little things can have a big impact. Whether that impact is positive or negative is up to you.
Learn to be master of the little things without letting the little things run your life. It is useful to pay attention to details but it is dangerous be ruled by them.
There is a big difference between being disciplined, careful and attentive and being obsessive. The difference is in clearly focusing on the purpose of your efforts. Look at everything in terms of the big picture. To the extent that the details enhance and promote your overall purpose, give them your time and energy. To the extent that the details detract from, and even replace the original purpose, let them go.
Nothing is more wasteful than worrying and fretting over trivial details that don't even matter. And few things are more empowering than having all the details working in your favor. Keep your purpose clearly in mind, and make the details your servant rather than your master.M O O N spells LBM

The energy of frustration
Some of the greatest achievements come from the biggest frustrations. In frustration there is an enormous amount of energy. Too often, that energy is directed and focused in negative ways, but it certainly does not have to be.
Some people use frustration as an excuse to destroy. While that may be completely understandable, it doesn't do anything to improve the situation. The gratification of any "revenge" is quickly replaced by an even bigger and more desperate frustration.
The best response to frustration is positive action. Sure, you have every right to be angry, but so what? The real challenge is to make a positive difference. The energy of frustration is a powerful resource which can propel you to new heights. Don't waste it by trying to bring someone else down to your level.
There is abundant energy in your frustration. It is yours to use for whatever purpose you desire. You've paid dearly for that frustration, so funnel it in a positive direction and make the very most of it.M O O N spells LBM

Blame
Just because you've been wronged is no reason to do the wrong thing. In fact it is all the more reason to do the right thing. Just because there's someone to blame for your troubles does not mean that you can end your troubles by hurting that other person.
No matter who is to blame for your problems, you are responsible for them. Revenge may be entirely justified, but it will rarely solve the problem.
Just as time does not proceed backwards, you cannot right a wrong by committing another wrong. Though punishment is often an appropriate and positive step, it cannot undo what has already been done.
The energy you put into blaming others for your problems takes away from the energy you have available to effectively address those problems. Don't let the desire to assign blame detract you from making things right. You cannot move backwards, so put your energy into moving forward.M O O N spells LBM
