I workout alot, sometimes several times a day. Carbs give me good energy but it seems like im sensitive to them.
Dextrose - makes me fat and gives me a major blood sugar crash 20-30 minutes after i drink it plus bloating
Maltodextrin - Dosen't give me a blood sugar crash, very little face bloating but I get twitchy when I sleep at night even if I drink it in the morning and early afternoon.
Rice - bloats my face out if I eat it after 6:00 I cant sleep at night
Sweet potatoes - bloats my face BAD, but GREAT energy.
Fruit - Face bloating and I get fat
Oatmeal - not too much bloating and I get good energy.
Coconut - good steady energy, but not as good as a complex carb.
I'm a model, so i'm wondering if anyone has any tips? I don't eat bread and I cant eat any carbs after 6:00 or I get twitchy. I like maltodextrin, does anyone else have sleeping problems when you take it? Like I said i train multiple times a day. Hard cardio, weight lifting, olympic lifts, pylometrics. I need a good carb that dosen't make my face look gigantic!
