how much do those weigh on their own? is your girl actually lifting them up in the pic? she has great grip power for someone as young as her.

they are 25-30lbs each, and yes she is lifting them off the floor, prior to putting them together she was pressing the long bar above her head. she is quite strong.

yeah i know but ever since she could walk she has always been picking stuff up like a 12 pack of cans she would pick them up like farmers walks and carry them . it was to cute.

Hey, I love the DYI equipment! Just curious what you used to connect the handles to the farmers' bars? I can't tell from the pictures. I looks a little thin, so I might be a little worried about loading them up with 200-300 lbs and turning with them. But for all I know you used titanium bar and I'm talking out my ass! Just curious. Nice job though.

just tried mine out yesterday same exact design. I had 290 on there no problem but i used 1/2" all thread my dad had laying around from the boat trailor.
