Lil rant
Car is in the shop finally. What started as an exhaust leak ended with blowing a spark plug out the intake and stripped the head. New threads are being tapped right now. Headers will be on also. The thing that sucks tho is I had plans for a charger/nitrous next. Now I cant run neither of them because the risk of having a heli-coiled plug. The plug was smacked by the piston, which isnt good. There may be a lot more internal damage. I called FORD and they told me to call the warranty place. Spent an hour debating with them. They wont cover it because they count it as spark plug damage, wtf? I really wont know until they get the plug fixed and start it up, so kind of anxious. Stayed home from work because I am having to run parts that I ordered to them, waiting on those still. Which means I could have went to work bc I would be getting off in an hour. So I slowed productivity down for nothing.
On the other side tho, I know a guy with a 5.4l he pulled out of a navigator with a 4v DOHC and complete wiring harness with computer for $500. So I could convert my car from 4.6 to 5.4, with not much custom work.
