Where do you bring the bar down on your chest?
When benching I was always told to bring the bar down to the bottom of the chest, which works the chest only and doesnt involve the traps.
I was told if you bench to high up your chest you start to bench with your traps.
But today I watched a Flex Wheeler vid where he claims he brings the bar to his neck as it prevents the triceps from becoming to involved in the movement.
Plus he did that no lockout constant tension **** blah blah blah.

your one ignorant ****er... stop big manning ever fcking person on here because the last three posts ive seen from u are fcking wrong... you dumb **** sucking mother ****er...
traps are mainly used as stabilization muscles in many pushing exercises especially the farther towards the top of your body your pushing from (aka bringing it down towards your face = more traps then middle/lower chest.)

The bar doesn't touch my chest, my elbows never go past the plane of my body.
If i were to it would be the middle of my pecs
