Change in 'activity level', question about cals
There are some really informed ladies on here (xoxoxoxo), so I thought I might be able to get a little help regarding calories and a recent lifestyle change that will affect my 'activity level'.
Long story short, I was laid off from my job (Executive Assistant - aka, desk bunny) about 4 months ago and have had major difficulties finding work. Yesterday I finally got fed up with the stress of a declining bank account, and auditioned to work as an exotic dancer (I'd done it in the past-about 5 years ago, but only for 2-3 months in a similiar financial situation).
So. My question is what would be an appropriate addition of calories for going from a sedentary job to a job that is, quite frankly, a pretty mild and long-term workout!
Right now I'm not really in a cut or bulk period....I guess we would call it a recomp? I haven't really gained/lost a lot of weight, but I'm getting leaner and harder every day from building muscle. I'm usually eating just a tad bit under maintenance, so about 2000-2200/day with the following workout:
Lift with my trainer 5x/week, some type of LISS cardio 5-6x per week, 1 rest day.
Also, my shifts are 7 hours long....not sure if that is important or not?
Any advice would be helpful. My main goal in asking this is because I don't want to lose the muscle that I've worked my butt off for!
Thanks in advance for any advice!!!
