numb index... middle.. and ring finger

It seems my fingers tips are going slightly numb. So far this has happen two weekend in a row (seems like mondays and tuesdays).... i wake up with numb finger tips ... it doesn't go away till about mid-day.

The only thing i can think of it that i do deadlifts/back on saturdays. Should i be concern? nothing hurts (some soreness in my back but nothing bad).

When I was having problems with my upper back and neck, those fingers would go numb when I would try to sleep. Try checking on your posture and start strengthening your upper back and neck with some face pulls and other exercises. If you think the upper back or neck might be the issue, consider making a visit to the chiropractor.

the thing is nothing hurts... my back/neck feel great.. (slighty sore yesterday).. today not sore at all... although the numbness went away right away this morning.

I wonder if muscle growth is causing this?

It sounds to me like a pinched nerve. It happens to me every once in a while. A nice long DEEP tissue massage helps me. It can hurt a little at first, but then feels really great. Good luck!

yea, I get numbness in fingers sometimes too. usually happens if I lift too heavy or too fast. try lowering the weight a little. pinched nerves can be complicated but for me usually means I'm relying on torque instead of muscle. take it easy, massage, heat, hang, stretch, & most of all, less weight, perfect form. Works for me.
