    Canned spinach vs frozen spinach

So a family member was critiquing my diet today by saying that I should eat frozen spinach over canned spinach as canned is basically not that nutritious as its not as green and blah blah...yeah. I eat about a can a day and they were saying frozen is better. I know that in general frozen is usually better than fresh/raw but its it superior over canned? I mean besides the sodium content (who cares) is it any less nutritional?

will it make a difference? no

a can of spinach every day is a lot. you're not exactly gonna suffer from malnutrition any time soon.

Yeah I figure the difference is small. The main reason I buy canned versus frozen is its cheaper.

Also I eat the can throughout the day with meals which the whole can is only 135 calories.

Canned spinach is pretty nasty. Frozen spinach is much better. Fresh is infinitely better. Speaking strictly about taste. I eat a box of frozen spinach ($1) a few times a week. Also eat fresh a couple times a week.
No sir, I don't like it.
