Back in the gym and guess what?
Okay, after getting myself outta da funk, I got myself back in the gym. (After making GREAT strides, I lost my job and stopped going to the gym for a month and a half.)
My eating habits are back to normal (wasn't that bad during downtime) and I'm conditioning my body for a couple of weeks now before starting hard core workouts next week.
During the downtime, I stopped having numb hands at night. Guess what? It's back!! THERE IS A CORRELATION BETWEEN WORKING OUT AND NUMB HANDS!!
Gonna have to wear splints again at night.
Just sayin', not complainin'! (It really is good to be back in the gym!)

Any type of arm exercises cause my hands to go numb during sleep. I like to think it's due to thickening of my biceps.

Do you wear anything tight to bed that would cause the cirulation of your arm or hand to be minimized?

Might be a forearm thing. I know after deadlifts, when my arm is very pumped, my fingers will tingle. Might be something of that sort?

You got a lot of elaborate answers last time you posted this but I said it then and I saying it now. The numbness you are experiencing in your hands is due to that fact you biceps are getting larger. It's not the exercises your doing it's the size of the muscle. I get the exact same thing. The muscle is consricting the flow of blood through the vains when you bend your arm and keep it that way for a while. It's kind of annoying but I just straighten my arm and it goes away in less than a minute. Sounds like you already knew this I just wanted you to know your not alone. And I felt like yaking Good to hear your back at it dude.

Glad to see you back at it! I was getting the numb hands thing too. It would bother me at all diff times not just when I slept. For some reason it just stopped and I have not noticed it for a while.

I've developed a twitch in my left hand, it's like my thumb and first finger try to clench (as if holding a bar). Personally I think it's an affect from working out so much.
Oh well..I'll live with it.

I know, I just want to point out that even though I received a LOT of medical answers about it, I do want to confirm what I suspected all along. It's nothing more than just growing biceps and the correlation between arm exercises and sleep.
Woodlake, that means you're not pushing your arms HARD ENOUGH!! TINGLING NUMB HANDS ARE GOOD!!
I agree with Guff. I want to live with the "pain" than feel nothing, see nothing, have nothing to show for it.
