water weight?

I'm a few months in to a bulk and I am kind of new to the healthy lifestyle. So far I have put on some muscle and melted some fat off the midsection and my weight bounces around like crazy...for example last night I walked into the gym weighing 177 and after roughly 55 mins of weight trainning and about 10 minutes of intense cardio i got off the scale at 170. wondering if this is water weight because I don't really sweat a whole lot.

in my (limited) experience, there's a couple things this could be:

1. Different scales used to weigh yourself (scales can vary hugely)
2. Water weight + calories burned

Personally my weight can vary as much as 10lbs during a day, just from normal variation throughout the day.

If you want a consistent log of your weight, I'd recommend weighing yourself once a week, when you wake up, and be consistent - e.g. empty bladder/bowels and dont eat/drink before weighing yourself.

there you go, you said it yourself, the problem is digital... ive never had a problem with a regular scale with the needle pin, but every time i ever step on a digital scale its always different, any digital scale
