Need some car advice (serious)

Here's the deal, my dad's company leases him a car every 2 years and then offers him the buy out. Well, his lease was up and they offered the buy out for an '07 Honda Pilot for $11,500. I decided to buy it because its a huge step up from my 2000 Ford Taurus. Well, I sent the check to motor lease and its been over a week now that I'm still waiting for the title. The car is in my driveway and is insured under my name, but is still technically registered under my dad through motor lease. Can I legally drive it or do I have to wait for the title to come? Its torture lol

Sure, you can drive it, but don't crash it or your dad will have to pay.

Thats what I'm afraid of even though I have nothing on my record, not even a parking ticket. I consider myself a fairly good driver but don't feel I should risk it in this case, bleh

Slight risk. More than likely you'll be more careful with this on your mind. If someone hits you, he'll get paid by the insurance company and you guys can still work out how to get you another comparable car.

It's really no different than borrowing a car from a friend or parent legally...if you mess it, they pay, if someone else messes up, they get paid.

Just be careful and all will be fine.
