Youtube and copyright questioin (serious)
I am having a hard time getting this question answered on Youtube, so I bring my question to the misc. I do minilesson videos for my students, I teach high school biology. I wanted a way to help them review at home, and this is what I came up with. Anyway, right now we are reading the book Jurassic Park, tying in what we have learned about genetics and DNA. The kids have 20 or so pages to read each night. Some of my kids want to know if I will record myself reading, they remember better when they can hear it as opposed to just reading it. I really get into reading the book aloud in class, I have a lot of fun with it. I do not mind reading it aloud, but I do not want to violate any copyright laws. Youtube makes it very difficult to contact them to ask questions and it is not letting me join their help forum. If anyone can give me insight on this topic, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'll give you some DNA. 
Why not just burn the recordings onto CDs, and then allow kids to sign them out?
Also..kinda just sounds like you have lazy kids in your class..

I'll pass on the DNA donation.
Burning multiple CDs for kids to sign out is too much trouble. I have over 100 kids who are reading the book right now. I have some students who have various learning disabilities and many who speak English as a second language. They are trying as hard as they can to read and understand, they just need a little extra help.

In their copyright stuff, they mention closing the account. I don't want to start a new account and reupload all the other videos I have done.
