Tell me about it! you know how frustrating injuries are.
Thanks Joey
Sometimes it takes it couple of days to distribute properly, and I have a bad case this time around so wouldn't be surprised if it didn't.
Thanks Barb!
yea like I have time to rehab myself amongst the whiners of the world

Squat: 185x1/195x1 (both are PR's)
GHR: 25x10x3
Russian Twist: 30x15x3
Seated Calf: 90x20/90x15x2
Notes: Bar was forward slightly on 185, a lot on 195 and called it a day. Need to continue to work on driving the head back as the initiation of exploding out of the hole and PR's will continue to fall.
Get some rest, your real work starts next week.
Proud of you. Do well following the intense phase, and you will have practically tripled your squat in a year despite your back and SI issues.Last edited by Arlecchino; 02-04-2010 at 03:57 AM.

Thanks Barb! was a great session very happy with the fact that they felt strong and I hadn't done them in a while, Smolov really is an awesome routine.
Session was 45min including warm up.
Thanks Tiffers, hope to hit your numbers on the squat one day.
Excellent!

Bench felt good considering I haven't done it in over 6 weeks no elbow or shoulder pain here.
Shrugs on Tbar are done with straight arms to hit the middle traps, dong them specifically to help upper back in accordance with shoulder injury.
The cortisone shot helped with the elbow pain but not as good as previous one's, looking into getting prolotherapy for it, had this before for my SI issues.
Monday I start the intense phase of Smolov.Being a real lifter is not about a number, or a medal, or somebody else telling you that you are a real lifter. It is about commitment to the iron and strength of purpose.
