Ran my car at the track for the first time
Well I bought my 2005 evo last april bone stock. This was my first trip to the drag strip it was just an 1/8th mile track (closest track to me). I was on completely bald street tires i had a best of 7.53 @ 98mph with a 1.9 60ft. With some better traction it should cut 7.0's or 6.9's. Should run high 10's in the 1/4 mile. This was only at 29 psi ( may sound like alot, but I would run 36+ if I had better traction).
Car should be making 600whp @ 35+psi with a solid tune in it.

LS1 ftw. FRC vette here.
OP, nice job. thats a nice modlist too. who did the tuning?
2 of my friends had evo 8s a few years ago. one was stock turbo on 22psi with a jester tune and brian crower 280s.
The other was an evo 8 on 28-30psi, FP green and meth injection. (i forgot the cams. they were HKS, either 272 or 280)
both were on jester tunes.
the one traded his in for a much lower payment. the one with the fp green, put back to stock and traded in after a 30psi run and the meth injection cut off on top in WOT.

Nice, pics? I'd be perfectly happy with a H/C 02 WS6 right now. So hard to find one that isn't beat to hell or $15k.

I have a LS2 2006 GTO but dont want to bring it to the track....a friend of mine lost control in his new m3 because a pos left a pile of oil and the track wasnt prepped right. Needless to say insurance told him they wont cover it and its totalled. Im too paranoid I guess.

Get some tires, you could get a 1.5 60ft Im guessing with the AWD and some practice. Nice mod list, Im currently looking at a few 04/05 STi's.

Man, why do people go to the track with 'bald street tires' ? I don't understand this.
Put some slicks on her, cut 1.4's at least. Maybe add a little 30-40 hit off the line and the rest is history.
I love how that mustang sounded like a beast in the box and was a pig. lol.

I hit hit 11's with 350whp with the stock turbo lol... I have another 200+hp with this setup. Most cars that trap between 98-100 in the 1/8th trap around 130ish in the 1/4. I know my car will go high 10's at worst... Thanks though 
Thanks everyone else as well, and to the guy above me that evo you have looks sick!!! I would take it to a road course or auto cross but theres not a track anywhere near where I live.
