Just wanted to throw this meal out to anyone who is craving pasta but is concerned about the calories.
I bought the Ezekiel Penne noodles and cooked them up, then I added some extra lean ground beef along with taco spice, and spicy Ms. Dash. I must say one of the best meals I've had in awhile.
Try it out.

It's a little less actually and you don't have the same insulin spikes.
I actually prefer the taste to be honest, which is why I got it in the first place.Altered GVT Program

Depends. I can get full on watery stuff but only for a very short period of time. After about an hour, all that matters for my satiety is how much I really ate. I think there are studies that prove your point, but I'm not sure those studies have actually shown that a diet would be made easier to stick to with less dense foods.
